Death

Rita Rebecca Furr, 60, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Alexander Milne Home for Women in Laurel. Services will be Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg, followed by burial in Highland Cemetery. Ms. Furr was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She was also a member of ARC. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac Luther Furr, Jr.; and her brother, Isaac Luther Furr, III. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Furr of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Jimmy (Patty) Furr of Hattiesburg and Michael (Debbie) Furr of Parsons, Tenn.; one sister, Janet (John) White of Hattiesburg; two nieces, Whitney White (Stephen) Fletcher of Hattiesburg and Nikki Furr of Hattiesburg; and a nephew, John Moyers White, Jr. of Nashville, Tenn. There will be a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until service time at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alexander Milne Home for Women in Laurel.
