Mandy Tucker Bigham, 91, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was born July 27, 1921 in Stanly County, NC, daughter of the late Henry Duncan and Lessie Furr Tucker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Waxhaw Baptist Church, 8213 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Mrs. Bigham is survived by her husband, Vann M. Bigham; sons, Donald and Larry Bigham; daughter Evelyn Chappell, all of Waxhaw, brother Johnny Tucker of Monroe; sisters Jane Byrum of Monroe and Louise Rushing of Unionville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110. Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory is caring for the Bigham family.
