Death
William Thomas Furr, 61, of Smyrna died Thursday. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Winkenhofer-McCurdy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Boice Earnharct officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Baptist Cemetery of Paulding County. Mr. Furr was a retired truckdriver for Central Paving Company of Atlanta and was a member of Roselane Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Inez Lawler Furr of Smyrna;one son, Huglan Douglas Furr of Smyrna, two daughters, Jeanie Cheek of Smyrna and Catherine Furr of Smyrna; one sister, Adel Johnson; eleven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Winkenhofer-McCurdy Funeral Home of Smyrna is in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
