Graveside services for Earl Ray Furr will be held on Friday, June 26, 2020, 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating. Earl went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2020, in Farmersville, Texas, at the age of 82. Earl Ray Furr was born November 22, 1937, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Ezra Clarence Furr & Edna Houchen. He married June Cline on February 1, 1958 in Hugo, Oklahoma. Earl had lived in this area before moving to Farmersville, TX in 1985. He graduated from Hugo High School in 1957 and later joined the National Guards. Earl worked for Texas Instruments as a Master Electrician before he retired. After retiring, Earl raised cattle for several years and loved to growing things in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Edna Furr. Earl is survived by his wife, June Furr of the home; his daughter, Lavetta Daniels; his son, Marshall Furr and wife, Shawn; brothers, Haskell Furr and wife, Phyllis of Hugo, OK and Donald Furr and wife, Callie of Hugo, OK; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Endnotes
