GIBSONVILLE Mrs. Mae Sutton Cobb, 95, died Sept. 17, 2003, at Edgewood Place in Burlington.The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Peace Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Stephen F. Mims, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Sutton and Martha Louise Ferguson Sutton. She was a floor supervisor in textile manufacturing. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors are one son, Mr. Benny Sutton Cobb of Gibsonville; one daughter, Mrs. Bette Cobb Furr of Reidsville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three-great-great-grandchildren. The family will be at Bartlett Funeral Home, Gibsonville, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, and other times at the home of Benny S. Cobb, 6507 Frieden Church Road, Gibsonville. Memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 6015 Friedens Church Road, Gibsonville, N.C. 27249 to the cemetery fund.
