REIDSVILLE — Bette Cobb Furr, 81, of 141 Cedar Run Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Friday February 10, 2012 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday February 13, 2012 at Citty Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Reidlawn Cemetery. She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mae Sutton Cobb and had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was the owner/operator of Reidsville Bowling Lanes and was preceded in death by her husband Earl Bowman Furr, Jr.. Bowling and the Reidsville Bowling Lanes were her life. Surviving: sons: Graham Kim Carlton of Reidsville, NC, Guy Hunter Carlton of Ruffin, NC, and Kelley Wray Carlton of Reidsville, N.C., brother: Benny Cobb and wife Fondra of Gibsonville, NC, three grandchildren: Kasey Carlton of Reidsville, NC, Kristy Carlton Morgan and husband Rex of Larsland, MT, and Hayley Hunter Carlton of Reidsville, NC. four great grandchildren: Rex Morgan, Jr., Sarah Morgan, Adler Morgan, and Hunter Lorenzo Benton. The family will see friends 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday February 12, 2012 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the Reidsville Bowling Lanes after 5 p.m. Saturday February 11, 2012.
