SUNBURY — A funeral was conducted yesterday in Arlington National Cemetery will full military services for Thomas Eugene Furr, 57, of Lanham Terrace Apartments, Lanham, Md., a Sunbury native who died Monday, on his birthday, in Lanham, according to word received here. He was born in Sunbury, Sept. 20, 1926, a son of the late Ralph and Margaret O. Furr. Mrs. Furr died in February. Mr. Furr was a 1944 graduate of Sunbury High School, and served in the Air Force. He retired from Andrew’s Air Force Base in 1965. He was later employed in a security job in Lanham. He moved to Lanham following his retirement for the Air Force. He is survived by two brothers, Ralph of Sunbury and Ronald of Northumberland RD2.The Daily Item, Sunbury, Pennsylvania, September 24, 1983
