Death
Dr. Marshal Buel Lynch, retired family physician, died Saturday at Quitman County Hospital in Marks. He was 77. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Marks Cemetery. Kimbro Funeral Home of Marks has charge. Dr. Lynch practiced medicine in Marks for 37 years before retiring about six months ago. He practiced for seven years in Moorhead prior to practicing in Marks. He was a member of the American Medical Association, the Mississippi State Medical Association and the Clarksdale and Six County Medical Association. Dr. Lynch was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Tennessee Medical School. He was a member of the Quitman County Rotary Club. He also served as a flight surgeon with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a Mason and a Shriner and a member of Marks United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Lelia Cox Lynch; two daughters, Mrs. Lelya Lynch Moore of altimore and Mrs. Katie Lynch Bicket of Long Beach; a sister, Mrs. Flora Lynch Laughlin of Shreveport, La., and two grandchildren.The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, November 4, 1991
