Death
LAMBERT, Nov. 16 — Mrs. Nettie Furr Shelton, 79, well known resident of this section, died Sunday morning from heart attack. Born at Brookhaven, she had lived near Lambert for the last 18- years. She was a Baptist and a member of the Lambert Home Demonstration Club. Survivors include her husband, Walter R. Shelton, Lambert; two sons, Laure G. Shelton, Crowder, and Talmadge Shelton, Lambert; three daughters, Mrs. A. G. Hamilton, Cleveland, Mrs. W. C. Gillis, Batesville, and Mrs. G. B. Chapman, Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Monday morning in Lambert with the Rev. Joe Mayers and the Rev. R. L. Long officiating. Interment will be in the Shelton family cemetery near Hazlehurst.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, November 17, 1952
