Death
Capt. James A. Furr, 70, of Phoenix, a pilot, died May 9, 1996. He was born in Mesa, and was a World War II National Guard veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lois; daughters, Debra Baugh and Nancy Hendrickson; son, Craig; sister, Mary Johnston; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the mortuary.Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, May 13, 1996
