Death
ANDERSON - C. Wade Skelton, 69, died at the Anderson Memorial Hospital here Saturday night. He was born in Anderson County, a son of the late Charles and Luta Gilmer Skelton and lived here all his life. He was a retired law enforcement officer and guard at Equinox Mill for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cecile Chapman Skelton of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Ernest Furr of Aiken; one brother, J. H. Skelton of Anderson; and one sister, Mrs. Wilton P. Horne of Concord, W. Va. Funeral services will be held here Monday at 11 a.m. from the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, June 24, 1963
