Death
Mrs. Barbara Skelton Furr, 58, wife of Ernest F. Furr, died Saturday. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wade and Cecil Chapman Skelton. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and a retired secretary at Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corp. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Jeanette) Mathis of Columbia; and a grandson. Services will be held at 4 p.m. today in Aiken Memorial Park. Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home is in charge.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, September 1, 1986
