Death
OXFORD — Dorman C. Furr of Oxford, brother of Dr. George C. Furr of, Clarksdale, died Monday morning at the Oxford-Lafayette Hospital after a heart attack. He was 61. Services were to be held today at 3 p.m. at the Elliott Funeral Home in Oxford, a burial was at Oxford. Mr. Furr owned and operated a drug store in Clarksdale for several years. Since moving to Oxford he has been a pharmacist at Gathright-Reed Drug Store. In addition to his brother, Dr. Furr, he leaves his father, Robert Furr of Oxford.Endnotes
