HANNAH RUST--210p53:
Hannah married George ESKRIDGE between 1717 when her father made his will and 1726 when her mother made her will. She was born later than 1699, as she was under sixteen in 1715. She was living at the time of the will of her mother, Nov 1726; married George ESKRIDGE son of Colonel George and Rebecca (BONUM) ESKRIDGE.
HANNAH AND GEORGE HAD ISSUE:
341--Samuel b 1723, apprenticed in 1736 to George HURST to learn the Trades arts or Misteries of a house Carpenter and joiner; m 1747, Mary, widow of John LEWISand dau of Mrs. Elizabeth (DAWSON) FOUCHEE; served in the House of Burgesses from Westmoreland Co, 1769 to his death in 1771, which disposed of 900 acres of land to his sons, with William ESKRIDGE named as Exr. children (named in will; Hannah, and Charlotte Fouchee ESKRIDGE, his children, having d young.)

George ESKRIDGE, husband of Hannah-210, d in 1732. Colonel George, Sr., his father, in his will, 1735, d 1739 ,names the children of George, Jr., who with their cousins, Betty KENNER, were to share in a tract of land in Prince William (now Fairfax) County. Colonel ESKRIDGE served in the House of Burgesses for many years from Westmoreland County and was a brother-in-law of 101-William RUST, they having married sisters.
He was a lawyer and the guardian of Mary BALL, mother of George WASHINGTON and appears to have deveolped a large estate in lands by acquisition of the fifty acre-head-rights, which were granted to every immigrant, or for bringing immigrants into the colony.
On April 27, 1937, there was planted a memorial oak tree at the grave of Mary Ball WASHINGTON, in Fredericksburg, Va, which tree was taken from SANDY POINT, the ancestral home of colonel George ESKRIDGE. Many descendants of Colonel ESKRIDGE and many members of the family of William RUST-1 participated in the historic event.
