Death

Concord - Randy Keith Furr, 45, of 61 Cascade Drive passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at NorthEast Medical Center. Randy was born June 9, 1966 to Raymond and Linda Furr of Concord. A member of Emanuel Baptist Church, he was a 1984 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. He worked for Time Warner Cable in Charlotte until 1995 when he became disabled. He then worked part-time at Your Gym until recently. In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by his wife Lisa Furr; daughter, Amanda Upchurch of China Grove and step-daughter Mandy Porter of Concord; two sons, Reid and Ryan Furr, both of Concord; his sister Robin French of Concord; two brothers, Roger Furr of Alexis and Rick Furr of Mt. Pleasant; granddaughter Emma Upchurch; nephews, Shane French and Josh and Justin Furr; niece Kelly Cox; and two great-nephews, Caleb and Braylon Furr. Visitation and Services: Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 1-2 pm Tuesday .
