LOCUST — Mr. J.C. “Buster’’ Furr, 63, retired custodian, died Oct. 24, 1991, at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle. Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday at Providence Church of God, Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. Survivors are his daughter, Miss Nova Furr; mother, Mrs. Ruby Furr of Concord; brother, Bobby Furr of Concord; sisters, Mrs. Geneva Garmon of Easley, S.C.; Mrs. Rachel Helms of Charlotte, Mrs. Avie Helms, Mrs. Lucille McDonald, both of Concord.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, October 25, 1991
