Nova Furr, age 53, of Locust, N.C., died Friday, May 29, 2009, at Hunter Woods Nursing & Rehab in Charlotte, N.C. She was a member of Providence Church of God, Locust. The family meeting place is at the home of Keith Efird 12396 Hwy 24/27. Locust, NC.. . She was the daughter of the late J.C. "Buster" Furr and the late Lora (Efird) Furr. She is also survived by her Aunt Rachael Helms of Charlotte, Aunt Avie Helms and husband Lewis of Concord, Aunt Geneva Garmon and husband Don of Easley, SC, Aunt Lucille McDonald of Concord, Uncle Bobby Furr of Concord, Cousin Keith Efird and wife Doris of Locust, Cousin Toni Hogan and husband Pete of Locust, Cousin Mona Sossaman and husband Ken of Concord, Cousin Wayne Efird and wife Freida of Oakboro, Cousin Doyle Efird and wife Diane of Stanfield, Cousin Wanda Morgan and husband Gary of Albemarle and Cousin Linda Furr of Albemarle. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C..The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2009 at Providence Church of God, Locust. Funeral service will be at Providence Church of God, Locust at 4:00 PM Monday, June 1, 2009 , Rev. Jerry Ingle Rev. Donald Whichard officiating.
