Death

Mrs. Carrie Sue Bostian, a native and life-long resident of Charlotte, NC, died Tuesday, January 2, 2001. Mrs. Bostian was employed in her early years by Lance Packing Company and then ran a day care center for children where she was a caring mother to those in her care. She was a member of Clanton Memorial Presbyterian Church where she was a choir member for many years and later a member of Avondale Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bostian was preceded in death by her husband, Ted W. Bostian. Survivors include her sons, Fred D. Lindsay of Schererville, IN and John L. Lindsay of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, John Lindsay, Jr. and wife, Cindy, Neena Hudson and husband, Eddie, Jeff Lindsay and wife, Teri, Joel Lindsay and Janine Lindsay Teeling; five great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Mindy, Megan and Maisie Hudson and Jessica Lindsay; brother, James L. Teeter; and nieces of Richmond, VA. Funeral will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 5, 2000 at Harry & Bryant Chapel, 500 Providence Road, with the Reverend Dr. John B. Earl, Il officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:45-1:45 PM, Friday at Harry & Bryant Company. Memorial contributions may be made to Avondale Presbyterian Church, 28241 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209. Harry & Bryant Company is serving the family of Mrs. Bostian.
