Death
Mr. J. A. Furr died this morning at 6 o'clock at the home of his son, Mr. D. F.N Furr, near the Hoskins Mills. Mr. Furr was about 60 years of age, an esteemed Christian gentle man and a member of Dilworth Methodist church. Mr. Furr leaves a wife and four children. Mrs. N. B. Ayers, of Monroe; Mr. O. B. and D. F. Furr, of this city, and an infant daughter, Carrie Sue Furr, and other relatives and many friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 p. m. by his pastor, Rev. J. O. Ervin, at the home of his son, Mr. D. F. Furr, near Hoskins Mills.Endnotes
