Death
Miss Jerree Furr, 13, died in a Houston hospital Thursday morning, August 7, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held at the Waldrope Funeral Home, Saturday, August 9, with Minister Silas Howell officiating. Burial was in the Llano Cemetery. She was born in Burnet January 10, 1954, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Furr. She was a member of the Church of Christ, a Llano High School student, a member of the school band; and she was initiated into the Llano Assembly Rainbow for Girls in September 1968. She was installed as “aFith” in June of this year. Survivors are her parents; her grandmother, Mrs. E. P. Furr of Junction; two brothers, Sandy Hodges of Austin and Kirk Hodges of Spokane, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Dewey Fain of Llano and Mrs. E. J. Staedtler of Austin; and 10 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Benny Hodges, Errol Hodges, Jr., Ronnie Hodges, Frosty Muller, eDan Zachary, and Benny Jarrell. Honorary pallbearers were M. A. Montgomery, Jimmy Jones, Jody Jones, T. A. Short, Orlan Ihms, Geore Pechacek, Ernest Digon, Mike Landon, Johnny Estes and Gary Estes.The Llano News, Llano, Texas, August 14, 1969
