Death
Edna V. Furr, 82, of Eldorado, died at Hendersonville, Tennessee, Sunday, December 23, 1984. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kerbow Funeral Home. The Rev. Ron Sutto will officiate. Mrs. Furr was born in Rising Star, Texas, August 16, 1902. She was married to Fred Furr in Calf Creek, Texas, December 17, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Freddie. Mrs. Furr moved to Eldorado from Bay Town in 1944. She and her husband made their home in Buchannan Lake in 1960 and returned to Eidorado in 1980. Mrs. Furr was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Donnie Danford of Eldorado; one son, O.L. Furr of Bertram; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Tom Duncan of Brady, Jim Duncan of Mason, and Rawleigh Duncan of San Angelo; two sisters: Lily Smith of Brady and Pearl Bolt of Eldorado.San Angelo Standard-Times, San Angelo, Texas, December 27, 1984
