Death
Mrs. Loretta May Iorio Millon, 85, a resident of Greensboro, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Beacon Place Hospice Home in Greensboro. She was born in Lawrence County, PA to the late Michael Alfred and Phyllis Padavanno Iorio on August 5, 1932. In her early childhood, she moved to Southern California, where she grew up. Mrs. Millon was a homemaker for many years; she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Millon enjoyed playing Bingo, and was quite the social butterfly. She never met a stranger, was very outgoing, and always had a smile to give. She was fondly remembered as being the life of the party. Mrs. Millon loved dogs, dancing, reading, and working in her garden. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Millon was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Knowlton and Albert Millon; a son, Ronald Knowlton, and a daughter, Teresa Knowlton. Mrs. Millon is survived by her children, Yolanda Robeson of the home, Robert Knowlton and wife Missy of Newville, PA, and Rodney Millon of Chambersburg, PA; siblings, Michael "Mick" Iorio of California, Chuck Iorio and wife Debbie of Leetsdale, PA, Norma Whittaker, and Chris Mosher and husband Jerry both of California; grandchildren, Jessica Turner of Greensboro, Travis Turner and wife Ann of Pleasant Garden,Todd Turner and wife Michelle of Chambersburg, PA, Karissa Knowlton of Newville, PA, Destiny Knowlton of Carlisle, PA, Dustin Shaneberger of Philadelphia, PA, Tyler Pinsky of Chambersburg, PA, Melissa Knowlton, Tony Knowlton, Erica Knight and husband Erick, and Amanda Knowlton, all of Pueblo, CO; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two fur-babies, Tucker and Kiki. A memorial service will be held by the family on Saturday, January 27, 2018.News & Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, January 26, 2018
