Death
Olon R. Furr, 79, passed away from symptoms of Parkinson's disease on September 20, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa. He was a retired Air Force Officer and formally lived in Melbourne Florida. He was an avid golfer, pilot, violinmaker and player and enjoyed singing as well. Two sisters, Mavis Gregg, and Judy Johnson, brothers Stanley, Murphy, Al, and Kelly, several nieces and nephews survive him. He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with full Military honors at a later date. Arrangements Entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.Published by The Arizona Republic on Sep. 24, 2003
