Death
Services for Mrs. Florence E. Furr, 68, a former practical nurse at John C. Lincoln Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. Seventh Street. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Furr, 6714 N. 11th Avenue, died Friday at John C. Lincoln. She was born in Bismarck, Ark., and moved to Arizona in 1945. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, the Sunnyslope Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Licensed Practical Nurses Assocition. Survivors include five sons, Olon of Miami, Fla., Edward of Lakewood, Colo., Murphy of Marquette, Mich., James of Phoenix and Kelly of Kingman; two daughters, Mrs. Mavis. Gregg and Mrs. Judy Bricker, both of Phoenix; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Biffie and three sisters out of state; two brothers out of state; 23 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren.The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona, October 4, 2007
