Death

LONGVIEW Norma R. Furr Cashon Pritchard went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2015, after a long illness. Mrs. Pritchard was born June 6, 1930, in McKinney, Texas, the only daughter of Robert N. and Norma C. Furr. She married J. F. Cashon Jr. Dr. Cashon briefly practiced dentistry in Longview, Texas, before settling in Kilgore and establishing his practice there. The Cashions were members of First Baptist Church in Kilgore, Texas. Norma taught Sunday school for high school aged girls and was active in the Womens Missionary Union. After she was widowed, she found employment as a receptionist at State Farm Insurance. She met and married Keith Pritchard. After he retired from Exxon Mobile, the Pritchards moved to Longview and began attending First Baptist Church of Longview. Mrs. Pritchard was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers; her husbands, Dr. J.F. Cashon and Kenneth Pritchard; and her son-in-law, Dr. James Richardson Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Blair, her husband, Bud and son, Joshua and Lisa Richardson and her son, Jordan Johnson and his wife, Emily; and many dear friends in Kilgore and Longview. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
