Death
Charles Furr of Princeton, Texas passed away February 18, 2009. Charles was born June 11, 1930 in McKinney, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956. He worked for Kraft Foods from 1963 to 1988 and retired at that time. He is survived by two daughters, Paula Harris of Austin, Texas, Pam and Dana English of Whitewright, Texas; grandson, Dallas English; granddaughters, Meridith Harris and Lydia Harris; sisters, Dana Roper of San Antonio, Texas and Loueva Strid of California; and brother, Everett Furr of Reno, Nevada. Visitation will be Friday, February 20, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069, 972-562-7788. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.The Dallas Morning News, Dallas, Texas, February 29, 2009
