Death
This community was sadden (sic) when word was received of the death of Mrs. Lola Furr who passed away in Collin Memorial Hospital Monday morning. Mr. Furr and her late husband, Fletcher Furr and family lived in the farm owned by the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Rheas for a number of years. They were active members of Rheas Mill Baptist Church. She is survived by the following children: Everette Furr and Mrs. Lou Strid of Los Angeles, California; Fred Furr, Denver, Colorado; Truett and Charles Furr of Garland; Mrs. Paul Roper of San Antonio; 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 12 grandchildren. Her husband and 1 grandson preceeded (sic) her in death.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, March 3, 1970
