WESSON — Walter Lamar Furr, 84, died Tuesday at Inglewood Nursing Home in Jackson. Services are 11 a.m. today at Hartman-Henderson Funeral Home chapel of Brookhaven with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. A native of Wesson, he was a veteran of World War II and a retired electrical engineer. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his brother, John G. Furr of Long Beach,and nephew, George Furr of Jackson.Military
