Death
Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Moore, 73, of 122 Vernon Dr., Cornelius, died yesterday at Lowrance Hospital in Mooresville. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Cornelius Four Square Tabernacle with the Rev. Serling Brackett, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Born Feb, 14, 1902, in Mecklenburg County she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Luara McCoy Furr. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Moore and Roy Moore of Cornelius; three daughters, Mrs. Sara James, Miss Dorothy Moore and Mrs. Jean Threatt of Cornelius; one sister, Mrs. Marie Primm of McAdenville, and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 tonight at Cavin Funeral Home in Huntersville.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, October 30, 1975
