OAKBORO — Mr. Kenneth Ray Furr, 55, service station operator, died March 29, 1989, at Stanly Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 4 p.m. Friday at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church, Stanfield. Visitation is 7 to 9 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Survivors are his wife, Patricia; daughters, Mrs. Sherrie Helms of Stanfield, Mrs. Kimberly Hinson; parents, Lewis and Martha Furr; brothers, John Furr of Concord, Houston Furr of Virginia, Gerald Furr of Mint Hill; sister, Mrs. Wilene Simpson.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, March 30, 1989
