With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glynn Ray Furr Jr. (Raleigh, North Carolina), born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 79. You may also light a candle in honor of Glynn Ray Furr Jr. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Glenn Ray Furr and Martha Hodges Furr; his wife Lewellyn Futrell Furr; his step-son Gordon Lee Whitaker Jr. (Cynthia Baker Whitaker) of Raleigh, NC; his daughters, Mary Joyce Furr and Sarah Beth Furr of Cary, NC.; and his sister Ramelle Gunzman of Silver Springs, MD. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2020 at 10:00 AM at the White Plains United Methodist Church (313 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hispanic ministry at White Plains United Methodist Church or to the Myasthenia Gravis foundation of America.
