Death
Albemarle - William Thomas Furr, Jr. 55, of Albemarle, passed away, Sunday morning, February 3, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00, Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood and interment will follow in Norwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00, Tuesday evening, February 5, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. Mr. Furr was born, November 19, 1957 in Chesapeake, VA to the late William Thomas Furr, Sr. and Edna Jacqueline Pruitt Furr. He was employed as a truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Furr and a sister, Penny Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Misty Springer Furr of the home; sons, Michael Norton and Freddie Honeycutt of Albemarle, and Robert McGraw of Concord; daughters, Dara Adcock of Concord and Kristen Honeycutt of Albemarle; brothers, Richard Furr and Gary Furr of Albemarle and sister, Donna Conner of Albemarle; two grandchildren, Austin Norton and Adeana McGraw.Endnotes
