Charley Eugene Uptigrove, 52, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2013 in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born January 7, 1961 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James Clifton and Carlene Beatrice (Furr) Uptigrove. He enjoyed volunteering for the FFA, farming, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father James Clifton Uptigrove. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery near Monticello, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; one daughter, Shawna Renee’ Uptigrove of the home; one son, James Clifton Uptigrove of the home; mother, Carlene Beatrice Uptigrove; two sisters, Charlene Mayes of Lancaster, California and Carol Hinton of Fostoria, Michigan; two brothers, Carl Uptigrove of Booneville, Arkansas and Cliff Uptigrove of Bakersfield, California. The pallbearers will be Carl, John, Jimmy and Jimmy Don Uptigrove, Rick Mayes, and Ronald George. The family will visit with family and friends from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville.
