Death
Shelton, Maudie Lee (MeMa), was born on January 4, 1910 in Grandfield, Ok. and died November 20, 1994 in Sugarland, Texas. Mrs. Shelton after retiring from Sears Roebuck & Co. after 20 years service then moved to Eufaula, Ok. in 1974, where she enjoyed retirement, cooking and fishing. In 1984, Maudie moved to Yukon, Ok., where she was active with and thoroughly enjoyed her association with the Yukon Senior Citizen Center. She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Anthony Roberts and Arthur Olin Shelton; and her son, William Wayne Roberts. Maudie Is survived by her daughter, Lola Faye McCulloch of Richmond, Tx.; five grandchildren, Danny Wayne McCuiloch of Houston, Tx., Michael Ray McCulloch of Richmond, Tx., Gregory Dan Roberts of Oklahoma City, Ok., David Mark Roberts of Yukon, Ok., Vicki Lee Smith of Palestine, Tx.; 12 great grandchildren, Krystal Dianne Roberts, Rebecca Lynn Roberts, Dixie Liegh Roberts, Jeffery Michael McCulldch, Amber Lee Smith, Jared Wayne Smith, Kyle Roberts McCulloch, Zachary Taylor Roberts, Caleb Michael Smith, Marie Nichole Roberts, Chad Alien Flores, Amanda Marie Flores; and a host of relatives and friends. Services and interment to be held 11-23-94 at 10:00 a.m. by Reverend Roger Woodrome af the Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7800 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, Ok. Her love for life and the love she felt for her family made her the light that she truly showed. Mema will always be in all our hearts and thoughts forever, giving us ali the strength to love and to be loved.
