Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Earl Pettit, North Jewel Street, who died at Glenwood Hospital Sunday morning, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Hixon Brothers Funeral Home, with Dr. Clifton Tennison, pastor of First Baptist Church, where she was a member, officiating. Interment was in Memorial Cemetery in West Monroe. Survivors include her husband, O. Earl Pettit, West Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Joe Herndon, Waco, Tex.; one brother, James G. Furr, Alamagordo, N. M., and two grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were A. D. Jackson, Clyde Foster, Vernon Duffey, William F.
