Death
KOSCIUSKO — Funeral services for Mrs. Vesta McAdams Furr, 83, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Nowell Funeral Chapel with burial In Jerusalem Cemetery in Attala county. She died early Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Inez Nowell, after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Attala County and lived most of her life in Dossville. Mrs. Furr was the widow of Sam Furr, who died in 1951. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Inez Nowell, Kosciusko, one son, Harvey Furr, of Dossville; one brother, McAdams, of Kosciusko; one sister, Mrs. John Maxwell, of Durant; also four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, May 7, 1972
