Death
STATESVILLE — Mrs. J. H. Weston, 88, of Old Charlotte Road, widow of John Henry Weston, died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday, at Davis Hospital. She had been in declining health for sometime. She was born in Stanly County. Surviving are a son, James Weston, of Statesville, Rt. 2; two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Sofley of Mocksville and Mrs. J. B. Roys of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; 31 great - grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home by the Rev. Lloyd Cox. Burial will be in the cemetery of Concord Presbyterian Church.Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, October 21, 1962
