Death
ALBEMARLE — Mrs. Sarah Eudy Furr, 77, of Route 4, Albemarle, died Sunday in Stanly County Hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1894 in Stanly County, daughter of the late Henry and Josephine AlIman Eudy. Her husband was the late Albert F. Furr. Survivors include five sons, Roy, James, and Gurley Furr, all of Route 3, Albemarle, Clayton Furr of Route 4, Albemarle, Johnny B. Furr of Rockingham; one daughter, Mrs. Coolidge AlIman of Route 3, Albemarle; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mattie Honeycutt of Oakboro. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Cliff Allen, assisted by the Rev. Jamie Morton. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Hartsell Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to final rites. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 9.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, April 24, 1972
