Death
Glaner Furr Stallings, 85, of 170 Country Lane, formerly of Concord died at 7:55 am Thursday Nov. 12 1992 at Rowan Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday in Hartsell Funeral Home's Chapel Concord conducted by the Rev. Junior Hinson and the Rev. Jack Hogsed. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Concord. The family will be at the funeral home in Concord from 7 to 8:30 tonight and the rest of the tume at the home of her son, Jewell R. Stallings, with whom she made her home on Country Lane. Born May 16, 1907 in Cabarrus County, Mrs Stallings was a daughter of the late Jason Heilig and Laura Linker Furr. A weaver at Cannon Mills Co. before her retirement, she was a member of Young Memorial Baptist Church in Concord. In addition to her son she is survived by a brother, Ira Furr of Concord, a sister, Lillian Hinson of Concord, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.Endnotes
