Death
Mrs. Nannye Hagood Furr — 76, a retired school teacher died Friday, April 27, 1979 at her residence in LaCrosse. She was the widow of Hugh Jackson Furr, Sr. Mrs. Furr is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ann Miller, Prescott, Ariz. and Mrs. Nancy Boyd, Richmond Hills, Ga.; four sons, H. J. Furr, Jr., Richmond, James H. Furr, Chesterfield, F. Scott Furr and Edward E. Furr both of South Hill; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Jones, LaCrosse, Mrs. Ida Winborne of Murfreesboro, N.C., Mrs. Jimmie Stevens, Emporia and Mrs. Hazel Powers, Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 P.M. Sunday at Farrar-Crowder Funeral Home, South Hill with interment in LaCrosse Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday 7 to 8:30 P.M.Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richmond, Virginia, April 28, 1979
