Notes
Death
Georgeville -- Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock, February 23rd, A. Frank Furr passed away. His death was not unexpected. Mr. Furr had been confined to his bed for most fifteen months. Mr. Furr was born and reared in Cabarrus county. He was a faithful member of the Methodist Church until his death. He was twice married. His first wife was a Miss Barnhardt. To this union several children were born. One daughter, Idel, survives. His second marriage was to Miss Della Faggart, who with two children survive, Howard and Edith. A number of years ago he moved his family from his farm near Mt. Pleasant here. Since living here he has been engaged in blacksmith and mechanical work. The funeral services were conducted Thursday at 11 o’clock from Center Grove Methodist Church by his pastor, W. L. Scott, and interment was made in the church cemetery. The entire community joins in sympathy for the bereaved family. May they look to the Giver of all good things for comfort in their sad hours.Endnotes
