Death

Mrs. Della Faggart Furr, 78, of Route 2, Stanfield, died Tuesday in Broughton Hospital after a period of declining health. Funeral services were held Thursday at 4 p. m. at Center Grove Methodist Church in Cabarrus County of which she was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Rev. Bob Moody, pastor, and Rev. Jerry Faulkner officiated. Mrs. Furr was the daughter of the late William and Annie Bost Furr of Cabarrus County. Her husband, Frank Furr, preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Howard of Concord; two daughters, Mrs. Dwight Greene of Georgeville and Mrs. R. W. Barbee Midland; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; nine brothers, Romas Faggart of Mt. Pleasant: Fred, Ira, H. D., Cleatus, Carl, K. M., Lonnie, and Glenn Faggart, all of Concord; and one sister, Mrs. Hubert Walters of Mt. Pleasant.
