CHARLESTON — Emzy Leon Furr, 69, of Charleston died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, in his home. He was born March 24, 1946, in Muskogee, Okla. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a Baptist. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial with military honors at 3 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery and Mausoleum in Muskogee, Okla. He is survived by four daughters, Cathy Sanson of Charleston, Carren Ashby of Tulsa, Jodie Erfurt-Herb of Gainsville, Fla., and Rebecca Thomas of Muskogee; a son, Steven Furr of Charleston; a sister, Patty Hiner of Muskogee; two brothers, Dewayne Furr of Burleson, Texas, and Jack Furr of Charleston; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
