Death
Mrs. Mary Knox Furr, age 71, of Rt. 3, Kannapolis and formerly of Huntersville died suddenly Thursday afternoon, Feb. 15, 1968. She was born in Mecklenburg County on Feb. 9, 1897, daughter of the late Joseph and Emma McConnell Knox. Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday at the Bethel Presbyterian Church with the pastor, the Rev. J. E. Wayland, Jr. in charge. Interment in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Samuel M. Furr of Rt. 3, Kannapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Charles W. King. of Rt. 3, Kannapolis, Mrs. Leslie M. Kelly of Rt. 1, Davidson; two brothers, Robert S, Knox of Davidson, Frank J. Knox of Huntersville; two sisters, Mrs. Herbert W. Auten, Mrs. Wes P.
