Death
ASHEBORO — Mrs. Mary Lee McCrimmons Furr, 56, of 114 Keeling St. died Tuesday at Randolph Hospital. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. She was a native of Moore County and was a Baptist. Surviving are husband, Lonnie A. Furr; daughters, Mrs. Ruby Campbell, Mrs. Barbara Huggins and Mrs. Dorothy Lee Luck of Asheboro, Miss Mary Jane Furr of the home; sons, Hank Furr of Asheboro, David Furr of the home, Lonnie A. Furr Jr. of Randleman, Arthur Furr of the U.S. Marine Corps in California; sisters, Mrs. Mae Miller, Mrs. Frances Connelly and Mrs. Bessie Brown of Southern Pines; brothers, Charlie Gilbert Cummings, Smith McNair Cummings and Lexie Bradley Cummings of Vass; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, September 6, 1978
