David Henry Furr, 27, of 2601 Viking Drive, Apt. 4, Smyrna, died Saturday morning in Smyrna. A native of Rome, Mr. Furr was born Feb. 3, 1960, the son of Bartney Furr and Louise Parrish Furr. He was employed by C.W. Matthews Paving Company, and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son, Bartney Locke Furr, Silver Creek; his mother, Rome; a brother, John Bartney Furr, Rome; two sisters, Miss Kittie Sue Furr, Dunwoody, and Mrs. Nancy Furr Nicholson, Rome. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. Roger Martin officiating. Interment will be at the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.Endnotes
