NEWTON — Ms. Ruth Boswell Furr James, 89, homemaker, died July 5, 1993, at Commander Nursing Center in Florence, S.C. Memorial service is 3 p.m. Saturday at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home. Visitation is following the service, Survivors are her sons, Lee Furr of Florence, Joe Furr, daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Yount of Greensboro,; 11 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 6th Street, Newton N.C. 28658.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, July 9, 1993
