Lilley E. HELMS
(6 May 1878 - 1 May 1927)
Lillie Helms Moody dropped dead as she walked along the track of the Graysonia, Nashville, and Ashdown Railroad near the home of her sister, Mrs. Elijah A. Williams. It is believed that she died as a result of acute dilation of the heart, due to the exertion, it being thought that she was excited, believing that the train would leave the station before their arrival. Mrs. Moody was in apparent good health and had been quite jolly during the day of the visit.
