Death

FURR, Allen Wade , 72, of Montgomery, died at his home, Sunday, April 2, 2006. Visitation was held at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy on Monday, April 3, 2006 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Minister Robert Allen officiating. Burial will be at Auburn City Cemetery, in Auburn, Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 2:00 PM. The family request that memorials be made to the disabled Veterans. The pallbearers are his grandsons and nephews. The honorary pallbearers are Elders at Oak Bowery Church of Christ, Dallas Furr, Guy Furr, Newton Rials, Wyman Sanders, Jerry Sanders, and Mike Miles. Survivors include, Wife, Ida Maude Grant Furr of Montgomery, Children, Ronald W. (Jane) Furr of Baltimore, Maryland, Michael R. (Patricia) Furr of Auburn, and Cynthia (Todd) Afferica of Atlanta, Georgia, Grandchildren, Ronald W. Furr, Jr., Zach Furr, Justin and Alice Parker, and Corey Furr, Several nieces and nephews.
