Death

Lonnie C. Furr, 74, of Murray died at 3:30 a.m. Friday at his home. Mr. Furr, a native of Locust Bayou, Ark., was a retired insurance agent. He was a Navy vet-eran of World War II. Mr. Furr was a member of Glendale Road Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ann Robinson Furr; two daughters, Lonna Caye Washer of Paducah and Leigh Anne Barrett of Murray; one son, Guy Furr of Athens, Texas; one brother, Wade Furr of Ramer, Ala.; and four grandchildren. His parents were Allen C. Furr and Virginia Nowlin Furr. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home in Murray. John Dale will officiate. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Murray-Calloway County Hospice, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071; Glendale Road Church of Christ, Glendale Road, Murray, KY 42071; or any charity.
